Air conditioning is a problem if you do not understand that you have to request this in advance. Furniture in the room is probably the cheapest they could find. The only person that was exceptional is the one women who works in the breakfast area and works like three personnel. She is originally from Hungary and should be promoted and given a raise. She provided amazing service. The other good thing about the place is the laundry service which the house keeping team does for the customer.

If not, please report directly to the reception, and we will try to find the best possible room for you." More than 60% of our rooms have AC.We want you to feel comfortable with us and come back. Stay outside of the overpriced town—and in comfort
We planned to visit Würzburg as it figures prominently in our family’s ancestry. We looked for available rooms in the city and were shocked at the prices: it’s a beautiful place, but it’s not Munich or Berlin. After scrolling for a bit, I found this one. The price was good and the location was fine. I had no qualms about driving into town to park, anyway. We crossed our fingers it’d be fine. When we checked in, we asked about laundry. We’d already been travelling for a week and had a other ahead. Though we weren’t allowed to use their machines, we were offered the chance to drop our laundry down in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. This was a great gift, since we were planning on touring the city. We left it at the front desk and picked it up in the late afternoon: it had been all even been folded! It cost us €30 but the benefit was better than losing a day of our trip at the laundromat. Breakfast the following morning was superb. The offerings on the buffet table were great. The hotel is renovating, so the rooms, while nice, sort of pale in comparison to the dining area. It’s really nice! There’s a coffee/tea nook, snacks and a generally pleasant space to be in. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay
The hotel was a great location. Tram stop across the street, along with a grocery store, McDonald's, getrinke mart. They have a coffee machine in the lobby that is free, a cooler with free ice cream, a beer machine for 3 euro, snacks, drinks etc. Breakfast was good, and the room was nice.

Shower
The floor of the shower was too smooth and becomes very slippery when soap is on it. Suggest either anti-slip floor and/or grab handles. As things stand you mighgt get sued.

Hotel is a little bit out of the main town area but there is a tram and driving is about 10mins or so. There are a few food options nearby about 5mins walk so all in all, a good location to visit Würzburg.

Clean, modern stay
A little out of the way, but easy enough to get around. The street has a tram running down the middle, so we got to know the u-turn places. A beautiful view, and comfortable enough.

Budget hotel
Fairly nice hotel. Need to drive to Old Town, not within walking distance. Staff was pleasant, but didn't go out of their way. No complaints. Limited parking on sight. Basic budget hotel.

Good in a pinch, but splurge if you can
Service level is a 4. Staff is very friendly and efficient. The first room we were in had a strong sewer smell and they immediately moved us to a new room. The room was good - if you just need a night. The bed's not too comfortable and the walls are thin so if someone was drunk and singing loudly and off key it will wake you up. The free parking was either a small lot up a steep hill or down the road, so not too convenient, but it was an ok stay.

Really nice stay. Amazing breakfast. Lovely assortment of cheeses!! Everyone friendly and accommodating. It’s kind of far from the center but there is a tram right across the street that goes there.

The only thing letting this hotel down is the lack of A/C. I stayed here one night having stayed the previous 3 nights at the best western Wurzberg. I would choose this hotel in future. Nice rooms.

Don't trust the advertising pics...
Requested a twin room (we are two sisters travelling together) but were given a double room in the old part of the hotel. The advertising pics showed a lovely modern room. Our room was ancient, small and stuffy. One day old towels were removed but no fresh towels were left. Evening staff didn't know where to find more!

It was OK as a stopover but would prefer to be nearer market place if you want to see attractions. We had lovely steak meal recommended by reception.

It was a good value for the price paid. It was a little far from the main area of town, but worth the stay. Breakfast was good and I was happy they let us put 3 in a room. Most hotels won't do this. Kudos to the Post!

Arrived after 7 hour motorcycling trip wanting no more than a drink in the bar, a bite to eat and an early night. Told at reception that both bar and restaurant were closed: no other explanation. Had to walk into town to find another hotel with proper facilities. Pretty poor particularly as all was open the next night when coach load of Japanese tourists arrived. Hostel service at inflated hotel price; not good at all.

A clean hotel with convenient parking
It is a standard German hotel - clean and organized. The parking is very close to the hotel and the staffs are very friendly. Wuerzburg itself is a very charming city - so you feel good about almost everything. The drawback is the lack of fridge in the room and you will have to pay for water and coffee in the lobby. The neighbor is a gas station. The staff (originally from Egypt) is super friendly. You can buy ice there if you have children and they really want to have cold drinks...
