3 Bedroom Lakefront Home with Hot Tub & Fireplace

Nana's Place on the Lake is a beautiful 3 Bedroom lakefront home located on Snyder's Lake in Rensselaer County, NY. Minutes to Albany and under an hour to Lake George, Adirondacks, Berkshires and more. Recently renovated this is a great place to relax by the lake, use for local business trip or family vacation. The Lake offers great fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, Ice Fishing and more. No restrictions and dock space is available. Amenities include a full gourmet style kitchen, outdoor hot tub, fire pit, kayaks, laundry and more. Three Bedrooms include a Master with Queen bed and 1/2 bath, 2nd Bedroom with full bed, third bedroom with twin bunk beds. There is also a full size futon in the loft. Sleeps eight comfortably. Come enjoy our house with your family and friends.

Yes the Hot Tub and Fireplace are working.

Primary Guest/Occupant must be 25 years or older. You may have guests, however no large parties allowed. Exceptions can be made, please contact us first.

This is a NO SMOKING Property. This means the entire property inside and out. If you are a smoker please consider another property. Any evidence of smoking during your stay and you risk forfeit of your full deposit.

As of 11.15.20 NYS Covid Guidelines restrict gatherings in households to 10 persons or less. We abide by the current NYS and CDC Covid and cleaning guidelines.

Relaxing time!!

What a great place to stay

We loved the conveniences of home for visiting our RPI student for family weekend! We were able to cook, hang out, and just enjoy the company of each other at this lovely place by the lake! Highly recommend this for a stay in Albany area!

We just spent 5 magical nights at Nana’s house. It was exactly what we needed from being on the road for 10 days. The whole family enjoyed the lake - kayaks, paddle boat. Even thou it was warm weather we also enjoyed a dip in the hot tub. Beautiful! You’ll need a car as you have to drive to the supermarket (only 8 minutes away). The area is stunning. Waking up with a cup of tea and the stillness of the lake rejuvenates you.wines in the afternoon while watching the kids on the lake, perfect. Thanks Chris! If we’re ever visiting family again we’ll stay here.

Lovely chalet with a homey feeling

Lovely chalet by the lake, we had such a relaxing stay. The place is just like on the pictures, very quiet but not far from amenities. The host are very friendly super responsive. Thanks for having us!

Great weekend on the lake

We LOVED the house and lake and will definitely be back. Our weekend was very easy and peaceful. The lake is gorgeous and quiet!!! Chris was very helpful with the one or two questions we had. Terrific vacation for us.

Wonderful spring break getaway

Chris was a fantastic host for our stay at Nana’s place. Communication was top notch and he was there the first night to shovel when we got snow. The house was spacious and very clean with everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub overlooking the lake and the snow was absolutely perfect. We loved being an easy drive to everything while also having peace and quiet on the lake.

Wonderful Lakehouse Stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is our 2nd year at Nana's Place & we plan to return next year. Beautiful view of the lake. Spacious home provides a wonderful gathering place for our daughters & their families who live in Albany & Ballston Lake. Chris is a great host and very responsive. Communications are excellent.

Great family vacation

We spent 10 days at Nana’s place. We were in the area for a family wedding and this met our needs, and more! The lake view with fall colors was amazing, s’mores at night with kids and grandkids, family dinners at a table that seated us all, it was perfect. Our hosts were so kind and thoughtful, responding quickly to questions and making sure lawn mowing wouldn’t disrupt nap time for our little ones. It was a great vacation!

Great time on the Lake

This was our second time staying here, and it’s always been a great experience. We enjoy the serenity of the lake while also being close to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Always clean. Hot tub is great. Cozy fireplace. Couldn’t ask for more. Thanks for having us!

Really nice

House was as described. Lake was really nice. We used the 2 kayaks, pedal boat and floaty — lots of fun. There are lots of reeds and sea plants growing around the dock, so we went swimming off of the pedal boat further into the lake. Hot tub was great. Fire pit too.

Relaxing Stay at the Lake House During a Stressful Time

My Mom of 92 Years Old had passed. My Family we were all in town for a Funeral Service @ Saint Jude's a few miles away .... Celebrating My Mom's Life. Chris and Mandy, the Hosts are fantastic to work with. The House on Snyders Lake was Awesome as 7 of my Children's family including My Wife and me stayed 4 Nights. The House was a Home away from Home and if need to go back to the Area would stay here again. Thank You Chris and Mandy.!!!

Relax by the lake

This location was great for us to visit family and friends. House was very clean, with a well outfitted kitchen. Quality sheets and towels which are a personal priority! Bathroom and half bath are both on top floor which may be difficult for some. Enjoyed deck overlooking lake and fishing and kayaking. Had great we! Thanks so much for a memorable vacation!

Perfect Getaway!

Our stay was perfect. Booking was super easy and the host Chris was very easy to reach with any questions. The house was exactly as described and quite honestly the pictures don’t do it Justice! It is better in real life. Perfect amount of space for our family of five. Location was great with easy access to anything you could need. Amenities of the house were great and the access to the water was wonderful. We will definitely be back!!

Clean, cute, comfy

Well appointed, clean, comfortable for 6, with enough space and chairs at the table for 8 at dinner. The location is right on the lake with a deck that looks over the water. Wifi was strong enough for us to work remotely. Owner was quick and responsive to fix our slow draining sink. Location was only a few minutes drive into Troy as we were there for the graduation, which made it convenient.

Sweet lake house

Cozy, clean, and charming lake house for our family Easter gathering with our RPI student. Plenty of room for 9 people at the dining table and an *excellent* kitchen to prepare our meal. The hot tub was a fun and an added treat! Owners were super friendly and accommodating! The listing could use some new photos since they don’t do the property justice. Only thing I would add is more hooks in the half bath.

A memorable stay at Nana's place

We had a fantastic time at this lake house on Snyder's Lake. Clean, fully stocked kitchen, lots of room configurations for our young family. Our host brought over a pedal boat for our young kids to use, along with the kayaks that were already available. The house had beautiful views of the lake, including from the deck. Having the lake right there made swimming a breeze. This location is perfect too: minutes from Albany, with Lake George, the Berkshires, the Catskills/upper Hudson Valley, and Saratoga within an hour or less. What a great experience.

Perfect lake place for family and friends!

The house was as described. It boasts both the nostalgia of a place used and loved for generations as well as the right amount of upgrades, particularly in the bathroom and kitchen. As cooks and bakers, we were thrilled to find such a well equipped kitchen! Plenty of room inside or out to fit friends and family around the table. The lake is clean--great for swimming and full of fish as evidenced by the many jumping daily. If you like to fish, bring your pole! The hot tub is a great bonus as are the very friendly neighborhood dog and cat who stop in to say hello. We highly recommend a stay at Nana's place.

We love Nana's Place!

We loved our stay at Nana’s Place!

Perfect location central to several small ski mountains on the Indy pass. Very close to Albany and enough space for a few couples. Chris was a great host!
