"Alexandra hotel From the first impression the hotel looks like a great hotel. But as soon as you check in, you start to see a different perspective. The bedroom area: The room was ridiculously small for the caliber of hotel advertised. There were tiny side tables that barely fit a phone. There was no room to navigate around the bed. A useless desk that had drawers too small for any use and a wardrobe (with its sliding doors that would not work) was too large for the room and unnecessary for hotel stays. If you wanted to turn only one lamp on the side of the bed, all of the room lights went on with it. So, you were forced to function in complete darkness or had full light. We used our phone lights to go to the bathroom so that we wouldn’t wake each other in the middle of the night. The bathroom; There was no shower door to keep the water in while you showered. There was the tiniest sink I have ever seen with no shelves or any space to set up your toiletries. I had a massage which was very enjoyable. We had a meal in Tosca on our last night, again enjoyable meal, nice staff."

It was off season so the outside pools were closed but we visited the nearby beach and able to swim. Staff were very friendly and helped make this a great short break. "

Room was spotless and cleaned every day .There sports bar is across the road and has better selection of drinks than the Hotel bar . The indoor pool was great as heated. You need to get blue towels from the spa to use in the pool. Note If you're using the hotel car park, it can only cater for a small car as it's very tight. "
