Intersting place

We stayed at this hotel for 2 days during the Xanthi festival in September. We chose this hotel because it looked like it was close to the old town on the map. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that it is actually situated a long way up a country road and quite isolated. We had intended to walk from the hotel to the festival in the evenings, but this was not possible as there is no foot path along the road. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful though, and insisted that a taxi was a great option. They were right, and we enjoyed to great evenings at the festival using taxis to get us there and back. Given this option, we were able to enjoy the location for what it was, with it's beautiful views over the city and quiet garden and pool area. The rooms are spacious and fun, we would stay here again.
