Beautiful resort like hotel with great staff and service. It wasn't very busy during our stay, which made it seemed a bit weird but at the same time we appreciated the sereneness and peacefulness of the place. Welcome fruits and housekeeping was top notch.

Front desk lady was not nice

The front desk lady was not nice. When I asked if the hotel can help to call a taxi tomorrow morning to airport, she simply stated no such service. During the check-in, never saw her smile feeling you are not welcomed to this hotel. The next morning, the gentleman in the front desk helped me to call a taxi easily.

This is the trade off when it’s cheap. I stayed again in this hotel within 6 month. This time it’s for 2 weeks, everything has happened - forgot my breakfast order the first morning - asked me to change room at 11PM because their hot water pipe has broken - new room is smaller and cranky and it smells - AC stopped working after a week so the room is like 26°C after shower, I had the WORSE sleep. And their explanation is that they keep the central AC at 24° after the temp drops below certain degree but comm it’s a tropical city how cold can it be?

Got a room upgrade by actually a downgrade

We booked a Deluxe Bay VIew Garden Room from 15 - 18 Aug 2015 (2 adult and a 2-years-old child). Suppose the check-in time is 14:00. Due to the flight delay, we arrived at the hotel at 15:30. However, we were told that there were no rooms available and have to wait for 1 hour for the room. The staff told us that they have upgrade our room type to a Suite. Yes, the room type was upgraded, but the bay view (or garden view) was missing. We can only see old residential building thought our room's windows. It was actually a downgrade. We are quite disappointed about their arrangement. Besides, the Bay View Room should be located at a newer building (Xinyue Building), but we were arrange to stay at Tianfeng Building, which is an older building. We requested a crib upon booking but no crib were arranged (It was expected as we got an "upgrade"). We requested two more times and finally the crib arrived. Especially say thank you to HSKP staff as they responded to our requests efficiently. During the stay, they made some animals by towels every day. Don't know it is the hotel policy or what, HSKP staff do not take tips. Children playroom are well equipped. Children will have fun inside there. The gardens in the hotel keeps very good condition, it is nice to have a walk. Not much mosquito around the hotel, good pest control. Must try the Chinese Restaurant. Their food are extremely delicious. Room Services are also good and both price are reasonable

The Hotel has free airport shuttle and an awesome lunch buffet. Staff is super friendly but most of them don’t speak English so communication can be difficult. We had a great time over all.

I stay here all the time. The service changes from day to day. Food is better if you are in the new building or the connecting building. The remote buildings have a smaller kitchen and only offer limited of food, usually cold. Beds are FIRM / HARD. Pillows are wonderful. I lay on them for my back. Utilities are good, internet can be tricky. Holidays are not quiet, usually weddings, or other events. Overall, good review. I've tried others.

Close to airport; nice property - allows you to wander the grounds and get some 'leg stretching' if you would like. I personally like the pool area, although I wonder why there's no proper gym, as in most hotels these days there's a fully updated gym. It's a nice place to stay - I'd say a solid 3.5 stars to 4 stars at the highest (for the 7 story place), but for the price it's above value. I've been staying here for over 15 years when it's gone through different ownership and pretty much consistent attention.
