Comfortable room. Located outside of the city centre. About 90mins walk and 30mins drive. Next to a shopping mall, provide good amenities if needed

Great location and wonderful apartment
We had a wonderful stay at the Somerset Serviced Apartments in Xi'an. Upon arrival we were upgraded, for free, to a very large apartment/lobby that was much better than the one we had booked. The apartment was very large, spotlessly clean, very well furnished, comfortable and with all the necessary facilities. Service desk was very attentive and friendly. The location is also very good, even if Xi'an is a large city. We were some 10-15 mins by taxi from the centre of town - the Drum Tower and Muslim Area, and yet with plenty of very good options to eat around. Highly recommended!

Nice, clean and bright apartments. Very good value. Staff was helpful. Food choice of breakfast was quite limited. Nice gym with yoga studio. Didn't try the pool as water was too cold but it looked good with reasonable size. The property does not have restaurants, other than the lounge serving breakfast but there are quite a number of F&B outlets at the shopping centre just next to the property. Another hotel with a good Chinese restaurant was only across the road and you could be there by less than 10 minutes on foot. Also walking distance to 小雁塔 and 西安博物館。

The apartment was very comfortable and great staff. The building is located next to a mall/grocery store which is very convenient. It is about 40 min walk to a couple of attractions. We forgot my kids headphones in the room and they found the headphones and we were able to get those back.

A ruined holiday by the terrible service received
A holiday totally was ruined by the terrible service from the hotel. Before we arrived, I informed the hotel that we will be late due to flight delayed. No answers received at all. Then when we arrived, waited over 30 hr to check in and then the receptionist even can’t serve us alone, she answered 5 phone calls and didn’t even to answer my questions. Even worse, the next day, found a dirty cleaning clothes on the bed. I asked for a sewing kit twice, finally, got it when the third time requested. A service from hell.

I pretty much have only good things to say about the place. Clean, modern, helpful staff. Unit was clean, with full kitchen, with view of other high-rises. Property had pool, sauna, steam room all in working order and good condition. Gym and playroom also available. Free breakfast was the same every morning. Food not bad, but probably would become boring if we stayed there more than few days. Some of the common areas smelled like smoke, but that's not because it was allowed, but rather because this is China and people just don't pay attention to non-smoking signs. Area around property is safe. Bunch of places to eat in walking distance, ranging from very cheap to almost Western prices with everything in between. Mall across the street. Taxi ride to center of Xian is about 15 min and costs about 10rmb. Of course my advice to download Didi and never ever use taxis.

clean facility and spacious room. The hotel is about 15 min walk from a subway station and the subway line is connected with high speed train station. Convenient spot for shopping , eatting, coffee nearby. We took DIDI (local uber)from the hotel to sight seeing spots in the city, most of the trips cost less than RMB15 one way.

Room is luxurious, even by American standards. Two full baths. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Had them arrange for us a minivan plus driver to take us to the Terracotta Warriors. Hotel is located right next to a mall with plenty of great restaurants inside. They are much better than the street side restaurants we found. We had many meals there. In the evening, you can enjoy “plaza dance” outside the mall. Tips for getting there – tell the taxi driver the hotel is next to the “Tei-de” Mall, as the name of the hotel is not very recognizable to the drivers. The hotel lobby is on the 4th floor. For the more adventurous, take the subway to avoid the city traffic. Nearest subway stop is the Stadium station (Ti-yu-guan) 2 blocks to the east.

Family of 4 in Xi’an
Wanted a comfortable stay in Xi’an with a family of 4. The room was modern and spacious (2 bdrm). The facilities were very nice, but unfortunately the pool was being worked on during our stay so wasn’t available. Games room, gym and other amenities were very nice. Good location, but a 1 hour trek to the warriors museum. Overall a great 2 days.

Incredible 5 star service apartments, service was friendly. Conveniently located next to a mall with many food options. WiFi was also great, only downside was the mediocre breakfast buffet and an incident where the hotel tried to charge us for lightly staining the bed sheets when the colour off a red shirt came off. This was prior to any attempt of washing the bedsheets to see if the colour would wash out, which in the end it did. However even in the scenario it didn’t, this is my first experience of any hotel charging for soiled bedsheets as one would expect it to be an expense commonly incurred by the hotel and covered by hotel rates, the fact that the customer is required to pay is frankly absurd. All in all, we still had a lovely stay and would happily stay again.

The stay was supposed to be 5 star, but as they were not able to arrange our apartments on the same floor when we check in again on 24 Nov 17, the average is 3. 5 star for the staff who had help us with the check-in on 20 Nov 17, when we told them that we need the apartments to be beside each other as we are travelling with 2 young kids, my dad and my in-laws. As the kids stuffs r spread into my luggage n my husband's, n I m staying with my girl and my dad, it is more convenient to b near my husband to pass the kids stuff around. The staff who had helped us with the check-in on 24 Nov 17 deserves only 1 star as he didn't try to arrange our apartments to b on the same floor and told us to pay an extra 510 RMB to upgrade the room so that we can b on the same floor. I proposed to swap to 1-bedroom apartments as we felt that the upgrade is unnecessary but the staff told us that this cannot be done as we have ready prepaid our rooms. I am really upset by the inflexibilty and insensitivity of this staff. In the end, my husband has to take the lift down from 12the flr to 7th flr to pass me the kids stuff n help me to take care of my girl.

Would have given 5/5 but pool was closed three days of the stay. Extra breakfast 58 RMB. They also tried to get me to buy their swim shorts 180 RMB as opposed to allowing me to wear my own. Very clean and modern.

Mycket fint hotell!
Fantastiskt fint hotell med stor swimmingpool och gym på 27 våningen. Enda minuset är att det var svårt att hitta till hotellet och lobbyn.

Ottima struttura di soggiorno
Struttura praticamente nuova, quasi asettica, più un residence che un hotel e per questo un pò fredda, ti accorgi di quanta gente la frequenta solo a colazione. Reception al 4°piano di un edificio abbastanza centrale che , al suo interno, presenta anche un centro maternità. Colazione praticamente solo asiatica, di occidentale solo le uova cucinate al momento nel modo che si desidera,dolce praticamente assente. Camere molto ampie, comodissime, pulitissime con arredi adeguati e vetrata a tutta parete, molto suggestiva sul panorama città. Consiglio questa struttura, soprattutto per il buon rapporto qualità prezzo in relazione al tipo di struttura ed ubicazione.
