"We met the host on the day we checked in and he explained all the information regarding to the property. We really enjoyed the space and the the location which close to subway station. Will definitely book again for this property of I am going back to Taiwan."

"So many house rules and bare minimum linens and kitchenware. - Go in and out of the property discreetly. - Do not ask security guard any questions. - If anybody asks, tell them you are on business trip. - No guest is allowed. - Deposit was kept by the property owner because my daughter had bleeding nose and the blood stained the blanket, two spots, each was the size of a U.S. dime. "This hotel is located in a good area. There are two different subway lines that are very close by. There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby as well. The hotel felt very safe, and the rooms looked like the pictures. Breakfast was varied, and the pool was a great way to deal with the heat. There was also a small playroom for younger children. Generally, this is a good place for families to stay."

"The staff and amenities at the Cho Hotel stand out. Located in the busy district of Ximen, the hotel is beautifully decorated with plenty of vintage old school charm, there's free snacks and ramen in the lounge and the staff are super helpful with tips and recommendations. The rooms are not particularly big but that's to be expected in a hotel in the middle of the Taipei. Nevertheless, they were modern, clean, and the bathroom/shower was easily as big as the rest of the room! Really enjoyed our stay here, convenient to food options, attractions and public transportation. Lovely stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westgate Hotel in Ximending, Taipei. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the MRT/subway station, surrounded by endless dining options, massage parlours, and within easy walking distance to everything in Ximending. We booked the Executive Suite since we were traveling with four large suitcases, and the room was adequately spacious, clean, and comfortable. The standout, however, was the exceptional service—from the warm welcome at the front desk to the attentive staff in the restaurant, everyone was polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Our room included daily complimentary breakfast, offering a great selection of both Western and local dishes. The food was fresh, delicious, and well-presented—though it can get crowded at peak times. Overall, Westgate Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Taipei. Highly recommended for both location and hospitality."
