"It’s a beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. The location of the hotel cannot be better especially for people with luggage’s as it’s right at the edge of the ancient town so we don’t need to drag our luggage on narrow cobblestone roads in town. We went to eat inside the ancient town almost every day. The hotel consists of individual old-style houses which are very private yet inside is new and tastefully decorated. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful with all we needed particularly on booking snow mountain tickets on WeChat. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the evening show at Mu Mansion in ancient town."

"It was such a heart warning stay. Loved the host and family’s reception and kindness. The location is perfect, away from the noisy part of the town and yet, on the most beautiful back street, with creek and stone bridge right in the front. Will certainly come back next time in Lijiang."

"Incredible place to stay! Only a short walk from the core of old town this beautiful property is owned by an incredibly kind and helpful gentleman Dom! I was lucky enough to spend some time and get to know him a bit. He helped me with booking travel and different activities within the city as well! Very clean room, the staff was very attentive to cleaning and ensuring my stay was great, location in my opinion was perfect. A short walk to everything you need and it was incredibly comfortable"

"A stunning and tranquil hotel located inside the Lijiang Dayan ancient town. The staff are all helpful and polite. They provided snacks and brewed tea during check-in, as well as afternoon tea that was delivered directly to our room. They also offered special services such as laundry and turndown service. It was marvelous that we could see Yulong Snow Mountain directly from our room window. Breakfast options were varied and delicious. My parents really enjoyed staying here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a different experience from chain hotels"
