"Week end hivernal très reposant le long du canal et au milieu des champs inondés par la Meuse. Endroit très calme. Promenade en forêt et sur le chemin de halage avec une petite visite sur Verdun. "The hotel is quite something! Walked around the grounds and it was amazing.. To the spiral staircases, to the gardens to the violin playing over the speakers. Room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The only neutral-negative comment would be the breakfast. It cost 15Euros which is fine. In fact it could easily be baked into the cost of the room and I wouldn't bat an eye since the stay itself it great value. The breakfast doesn't live up the magnificence of the rest of the hotel. "

Tried the phone numbers they gave, no response, had to drive on and make a different booking somewhere else. Hotel no responding to hotels.com so delaying my refund. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!"

"I would love to give it 5 stars but due to the fact that the heat was not working was really bad specially when you are with an infant with you I literally had put his jacket on in the middle of the night because the room was freezing mind you we had a small heater on but in vain. I wish we had been informed of this situation before we arrived in order to weight our options or not. But besides that the receptionist was very nice and helpful to us during our stay."
