"Nice seaside spot. Not the most convenient to get to and from room via lobby, or to beachfront area. It would be nice to be able to sit indoors (other than ocean front rooms) and see the ocean without having to pay to be in the lounge or restaurant."
"It's a nice stay overall. Great beach access, a pool and hot tub, and a kitchenette to help save money while you are traveling.
The rooms were nice, but didn't feel particularly clean. The garbage under the sink was full from the last guest, there were some hairs and dirt on one of the pillows, and a funky smell.
However, overall there were no issues and cleanliness wasn't an issue anywhere else. Pool is chilly, but great for kids! Games and movies to borrow free during your stay and a simple complimentary breakfast had some nice options.
We would stay again."
"The room with a view, the balcony and beach access down to a nice beach were the things we appreciated the most.
We were disappointed in the wash stations not working, We were only able to use our gift card for reservations and gift shop, not the restaurant. Our wait time at the restaurant was long, we waited almost 30 minutes to order after being seated for dinner, and although we ordered right away for breakfast, our food came almost an hour later and coffee after that."
A Yachats Classic With An Incredible Ocean View, Tide Pools & Sandy Beach!
8/10 Good
"You enter this sweet little house through the kitchen—which was spotless and shining. The adjoining living & dining area is small, and rather dark. The dining area is especially dark & I’d urge the owners to install an overhead light above the table. The windows in the living room help with the light and give you great views of the coast. On a stormy day, we sat inside and through the windows watched sea lions fishing close to shore and four bald eagles tussling over a cormorant’s carcass on the beach. The bed is super comfortable! And the home’s location perfect if you love long beach walks. A few short steps from the porch, you’ll find a staircase to the beach. We took our dogs on long walks several times a day and let them chase sticks and play in the surf. Happy memories!"
