"The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms were comfortable. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The staff are bilingual and helpful. The a/c worked great! The key card only allows you access to your floor, main lobby, and the pool - which was in their spa area. They also have a sauna and a steam room. Breakfast was included and was traditional and yummy. "

"This place is AMAZING! I arrived at 0500 looking like a zombie having flown overnight from Bogotá and they let me check in. Yes, I will pay $60 for more sleep, thanks! Breakfast was delicious, with loads of options. I then spent some time in the spa trying to turn myself back into a human and it was just what I needed. There’s a steam room, hot tub, and a lap pool and I had them all to myself. The room itself was gorgeous, spacious, and well furnished. I particularly appreciated a very good hair dryer when I realised the one I brought wouldn’t work. There are plenty of plugs, lighting options and a very comfy bed (although I’d have happily slept on a concrete slab when I first arrived). The view from my room was of the surrounding mountains and was so beautiful. It was National Pedestrian Day when I was there, but the hotel is a 20 min walk from a restaurant block (El Bosque Boulevard) and from Irpavi station for Mi Teleferico. I’m a woman travelling by herself and didn’t feel unsafe in the area, although all the time I spent outside was in daylight. Special mention for Ernesto on the front desk who was wonderful and so helpful. His English was brilliant, which I appreciated as my Spanish very much isn’t! He and the rest of the staff went the extra mile every time. I’ve travelled fairly widely and I’d say this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in, particularly in terms of service, amenities, design, and location, and definitely at the price point. I will 100% be back!!"

"A really relaxed stay in Coroico. You can’t help but chill out here. The staff are friendly and attentive. It takes a moment to understand how they do things. On arrival, you receive a mobile phone. Communication goes through that which means ordering meals, requesting services etc. There is also a small fridge at the pool you can take a drink from and write it down. It’s important to chill here. Upright wont work; which is great! There is a sunset to die for at the swimming pool! The coffee is very good, as you’d expect and there is a good variety of decent teas. The dinner menu is limited but delicious! We thoroughly recommend a glass of wine and dinner chilling by the pool in the evening. We stayed in the cabin. You feel part of nature here. The bathroom is separate but right next door (and private). The bed was super comfy. Take a coat and insect repellent. We stayed in August and needed both (coat in evening). Coroico is nearby and walkable. "
