Great cottage, ideal if you don't need amenities of being in an urban setting. Just a couple of options for dining out within a few kilometres. The bedroom with the queen size bed was small and it was not possible to close the door. Not a problem for me, but might bother others. Would I stay again? Absolutely!

We enjoyed our stay only complaint would have been that the sauna was out side our room and people kept walking by to us it . We would have like to sit out and watch the sun set but with people walking by we didnt feel comfortable.

I love that you can see the bay from your window. It was a good size rm. The managers were living there were really nice and helpful.They have picnic tables along with chairs in the back to sit and watch the water. Very quiet and peaceful there. It also had a sauna you use. The bay is within walking distance so you can go and swim.

Beach serenity at its best

This motel probably has one of the most beautiful settings in the area. Mavillette Beach is huge, relatively empty and protected, and the rooms at the Cape View have back doors so that you can walk right out to chairs and picnic tables overlooking the beach. The room also had a big picture window in the back that allowed me to watch the surfers catching some gentle waves. Great for a longer stay, and the new management couple were kind and very accommodating. A very quiet and serene place. I want to go back!

The view was amazing. So relaxing watching the tide while we sat on the beach. Brought our own folding chairs. Perfect place for a picnic or flying a kite.

Neat clean quiet and comfortable. Staff was great and worked with us as we were coming in late. Don’t know if there was Wi-Fi as was too tired to look. View and back sitting area overlooking beach and lighthouse.

Lovely little motel with fantastic view of ocean and super close to a great beach. Beds were comfy. There are some minor changes that should be considered. Closet and desk/chair should be added.

We chose this place for its beach access so we could have a surf getaway. The place is perfect for just that. I left my boards outside for 3 days and never worried about them once. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Love it and will certainly be back!

This was the most expensive place we stayed at during our Nova Scotia trip, but the incredible view and gorgeous sunset was worth it! There is also NO air conditioning, but our room had large windows which allows for cross ventilation. Our host was gracious and very accommodating. LOVELY!

Wonderful location

Had trouble using air fryer There were instructions how to turn it on etc but no information on cooking times. Pillows were too hard. Othetwise a beautiful quiet location very close to the ocean.
