Definitely a hidden treasure.
The host, Steve, went above & beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful!!! Books, games & puzzles kept us entertained in the evenings, was a needed break away from a TV. Love, love, love the deck on the creek!! Look forward to coming back for sure!!!
The cabin was great. Keep in mind there is no shower but the claw tub was so nice we enjoyed soaking each night. The only downside was the driveway. The host is wonderful in communication about it so we were prepared. It just has a dip where a creek flowed through. Our tiny Honda Fit went through it just fine. They are very open and great to work with. We would be happy to stay again if the need arose.
Great communication with owner. Beautiful furnishings, warm comfortable bed, quiet and restful, careful attention to details just as represented. Shares entrance to grounds with main house but with a welcoming sense of privacy once inside the cabin. Be prepared to cross a low water bridge on the way in - a great experience.
First of all PEOPLE give this place a look me and my wife stayed for 2 nights mr steve and his girlfriend are so nice he let us check in first off super clean simple no tv no cell service ther is wifi that works fine nice kitchen and soaking tub in bathroom the deck was nice the creek was dull and running even though it rained all weekend it was so relaxing mr steve even offered us a free night ifvwe couldn't cross the creek on way out will be back i highly recommend this rental you will notbe disappointed its so quiet and peaceful
Super nice cabin, quiet, great lamps and sofas. A nostalgic mix of antiques and art. The back deck is a great place to relax into the night hours. Thank you to our host Steve and the super sweet housekeeper. We had a fantastic stay.
Directions given by the host were spot on, maps on the phones will get you close but sometimes they add a few extra turns, so definitely take notes from the host. The house was quite a bit bigger than we expected. The appliances were all functioning and the furniture was in good working order. Our absolute favorite spot was the back porch which overlooks the creek. Drinking our morning coffee and eating breakfast as we listened to the bugs chirping and water flowing- even in mid August when most of the state was dry for weeks. There is a bit of a meadow you can see behind the trees and it seemed to be frequented by a family of deer.
