"The cottage is a perfect place for walking or a bit of peace and quiet. The house is well equipped and comfortable, with views over Merrivale and Dartmoor. There is a bit of traffic on the nearby road by day, but in the evenings it is very quiet. The hosts provided plenty of suggested walks from the doorstep, and other things to do nearby. We had a very enjoyable stay."

"Lovely cottage with super comfy beds. The hot tub was great. Only downside was the kitchen layout as the sink was the other side of the huge island making it a bit of a hassle when cooking. The main oven did not work and we had to buy a frying pan as there wasn’t one. We also couldn’t get the TV to work in one of the bedrooms. I would also suggest that the chesterfield settee needs either reupholstering or replacing as it was so uncomfortable."
