"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. The baths were nice, the place was super clean. Transportation to get there is a bit difficult, but that I think is what makes this place attractive, since it's in such a nice, quiet part of Japan. Going there during the Sakura season was amazing too. "

"Overall, my experience at the hostel was positive. The host was very friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for good tourist spots and even driving us to a local restaurant that had delicious food. "Brand new property. Parking available for a charge (limited spaces). Onsen on property, very nice with sauna and cold bath. Beds are firm but comfortable. Breakfast with an additional charge. Japanese style breakfast, so skip if you want western style."

Sanco Inn Yokkaichi Ekimae

8/10 Good

"LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! Just a short 5 minute walk to the train station!! Area had good restaurants and little boutique shops, family mart right across the hotel and Don Quijote, huge grocery store, yummy bakery and Starbucks was right across the street. The only downfall was that nothing opened until 10am!! The room was small, but that was expected. The room I had reserved was for me only. I had a difficult time with their policy of not allowing my daughter to come up to the room with me to just relax for a bit and drop things off from our day of shopping and site seeing before going to dinner. She was not staying overnight any of the nights I was there. Otherwise, the stay was nice. "
