Hotel is a two minute walk from Ofuna station and overall in the heart of Ofuna which is very convenient. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel overall is clean and the breakfast the room came with was decent, but why I give it three stars is because one morning before heading out for the day I came to my room. throughout my entire stay I had had the sign on my door that I did not want my room cleaned or anyone to come in. When I was at breakfast, they put up a sign on my door saying they were gonna come in the next day to do a cleaning regardless, I decided to ignore it, but when I came back later that day, my room had been made up. I did not appreciate the improper warning of coming into my room, especially when I did not want anyone in there in the first place. The situation took me very offguard.

Location is very good, one train stop from Kamakura and the monorail connects with Enoshima. The hotel has all the facilities we needed with the benefit of lower rates than Kamakura. Ofuna is a true taste of a Japanese suburb with great shops and lost of reasonably priced restaurants

The room was always a bit too hot because windows couldn't be opened, though I understand this is for safety reasons. Otherwise everything was perfect, the staff was kind, cleaning was always good and the room was big despite being for only one person. Thank you very much!

My room window was locked the door to the staircase was locked, SO in an emergency where you need to evacuate your SCREWED the only way out is the ONE little elevator in the hotel AND as we all know you NEVER take the elevator during an emergency.... An UNSAFE place to stay....
