Looking to adventure beyond Short Sands? We are located less than 1/4 mile from Long Sands Beach, a short walk to the Nubble Lighthouse and a short bike ride to York Village.
Owls Head Cottage is one of five One Long Beach Properties that are all located at the One Long Beach address. The other rental homes available for rent at this address are: Goose Rocks Cottage, Heron Neck Cottage, The Carriage House and The Main House. In addition, we have two additional ocean front properties located down the street, the Sea View and the Sand and Surf.

Perfect Location

Love how we could walk all over right from the property. Ed and Barbara were easy to connect with for any questions we had, the place was clean and well kept and it was a short drive for us to hike, shop or try out some great restaurants.

Long weekend in York, Me.

We were a family of 5 adults in York for a family wedding. The property was perfect for what we needed. The location was ideal as you could walk to the beach, the shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. The house itself was immaculate and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The house is ideal for sleeping up to six adults .Ed is a great host who was very easy to get a hold of if you need to talk to him. We are looking forward to return to this beautiful house, except we will stay longer the next time. Thank you Ed & Barbara.
