Yosemite View Lodge

Yosemite View Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"The close proximity to YNP is the biggest value to stay in this hotel. The convenient store carries many basic necessities our family needed for this vacation. The pizzeria is very good and convenient; there is no need to drive back to the Valley. Hotel is dated. Hope next time we revisit, it would become more modern."

"If you want a reasonable (for yosemite) room for a few nights it's ok, it's shortfalls are made up by it's location and onsite facilities, the pizza and cold beer at the end of a days walking was great! But.. the beds are awful I didnt expect much but these metal framed beds squeeked with the tiniest movement, enough to keep you up at night, I mentioned it at check out but the lady was not interested. The bike rental is a bit pricey for a family, I think I paid $120 for 4 hours, 2 adult and 2 childrens bikes. The shower blocks are 'ok' but busy and often queues are formed.Maybe spend a bit more and go up the road."

Storybook Chalet inside Yosemite National Park

Storybook Chalet inside Yosemite National Park

10/10 Excellent
"This was our second visit to this lovely cabin. We really enjoyed all the amenities and it really is wonderful to be staying inside the park and not having to drive that extra time just to get to the Valley floor. It’s so worth the cost. Eric was very helpful when we had questions or issues. He was quick to respond. The sunsets are lovely to watch on the deck, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It’s exactly what you look for on this type of getaway. We would recommend this location to our friends and family for future stays at Yosemite."
