Inside Yosemite National Park near Wawona Village, California, USA. Sleeps 6.

Our family built this home in the 80s and it has been the gathering spot for many fun and relaxing trips with family and friends. We love this location where we enjoy the beauty of Yosemite without the crowds and tour buses. We continue to use the home so you'll find the house is stocked with kitchenware, basic bath needs, books, games, DVD movies, and old time personal affects.

Single story, 2 full bathrooms, living room, dining room, laundry room, full kitchen and kitchen island/breakfast bar, front and rear porches, driveway parking.

The house features large front and back porches with views of trees and a meadow. The front and back doors have camera door bells. The front door enters to a large living room with wood burning stove followed by a full kitchen and dining room, all with great windows. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on either side of the living room. With driveway space for three vehicles and bedrooms separated by large living space, this house is great for a couples trip, multiple family or friend groups, and families who desire private beds and baths. The house has laundry washer and dryer, dishwasher, heating and air conditioning, satellite TVs, WiFi Internet, and telephone.

Check in after 4pm and check out before 11am. Due to covid cleaning we need more time to clean the house and rugs. No Pets without permission.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn off AC or Furnace controller by wash room door.
Check external lights front porch and back porch are OFF. Put chairs back around table. pull back under porch so they dont get rained on.
If you unplugged the window xmas lights please plug back into the controller on the wall.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

No smoking in the house. No bon fires outside or any place in the Park. During HIGH fire danger, NO fires in fire place. Barbecue is Propane safely.
Renter Dumps their own trash bags in dumpsters on Bruce lane before leaving, do all dishes and pots used. check for any lost items.
Check out is 11am so we have time to clean before the next arrival. If you are planning to arrive before 4pm you must contact owner joe.

Cabin in the woods

Cozy cabin located in a quiet forested location. Great place to relax. Close to Yosemite village and other recreation areas outside the park. Bass lake less than an hour away.

A treasure inside the park!

Comfortable home in a great location

Comfortable home in a great location for seeing Yosemite National Park. We especially enjoyed the huge deck on the back of the house as a peaceful and beautiful place to sit.

Private home inside Yosemite NP (Wawona)

Perfect in every way! VRBO photos accurate. In addition to great location for getting to and from Yosemite Valley, we 3 retirees so enjoyed the memorabilia filling every room, the well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, very comfortable beds, the sense of privacy in a quiet neighborhood, and walking around the block which took us past the small Pine Tree market (basic food/supplies). Exceptional host - communication excellent including detailed directions. Highly recommend!

Great cabin and great location

We’ve stayed here many times and love it!! Cabin layout is perfect. Every convenience is provided with clear instructions on how to use everything. There are safety features also, such as active extinguisher in the kitchen. Couldn’t ask for a better host or more interesting cabin.

Nice cabin, great for a large family or two small families. Some people might feel that it’s cluttered, but we enjoyed all the memorabilia. It is well stocked with most everything you need.

Fun & Interesting Cabin in Yosemite

The cabin was clean and easy to access. We stayed and enjoyed the wonders of Yosemite National Park. Not having to re-enter the park daily was a plus and the interesting items in the cabin made our trip complete.

Great home base for exploring!

We loved our stay! The cabin is very well stocked and filled with interesting collections. The space works well for a larger group, with separated bedrooms, open living space and a big deck. The hosts are very nice ans responsive. And, of course, you can’t beat the location! We hope to come back!

What fun!

Yosemite was unbelievable and then to come back to such a comfortable gun place was icing on the cake. Loved the owners collections and the place was well equipped for children. I plan to come back at some point with my grandkids.

Cozy home in Wawona

House is like a museum with artifacts of old western themed items and pictures (i.e. Hop Along Cassidy, Lone Ranger, etc). Great deck, very comfortable inside, all the amenities you may think of, or need.

A Homey Cabin With Everything You Need

We’ve stayed here multiple times and never been disappointed. The layout is perfect, and the supplies and equipment for cooking are ample. Another great trip

Cabin is roomy and full of interesting decors. Joe response quickly to any questions we have about the cabin. A small market/store within a few mins walk for the cabin that has quite a variety of things. Good location and it is locate inside the park. We had a great time.

Yosemite Visit

The place was perfect for our family. We needed a place to make a base from as we went touring around Yosemite. The property manager was extremely helpful. While we weren’t in the place much during the day there was a lot of fun things we could have done in it if we did.

A Classic Cabin

This cabin is a timeless classic. Lots of fun collectibles inside to enjoy and admire. It has a good location near some fun swimming holes in Wawona. We also enjoyed walking around the golf course and to nearby waterfalls. The cabin has a nice deck with a grill and was very clean upon check in. The host was very helpful and proactive with communication. The kitchen and entire cabin was very well stocked.
