"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

"We booked À la Mainguère at quite short notice, for a quiet night before catching our ferry back to England the next day. Well I have to say, that after one night, we want to book again and for longer! What a fabulous place to stay and with just perfect hosts too. "A really quirky and nice property in great grounds. Need to book restaurant in advance as reading reviews often dull and not much in the area and nothing else walkable. Overall a nice stay - great spa, lovely grounds. Special mention to Raphael who helped us 👍"

"Lovely French country house. Bedrooms were comfortable. Modern bathroom with large shower. Served a very nice breakfast for us in the morning. A town nearby that has a few restaurant options. "

"The hotel is in a picturesque area, surrounded by ponds and a canal and is very quiet. We had a large room with seating and views over the water. It's not a modern building as it once was a working mill. The hotel has its own restaurant but there are others nearby and free parking closeby."

"This Logis is in a pretty environment. It could be so good but it’s management that lets it down! We arrived after the check in time then had to phone to get an access code. The reception wasn’t manned till much later. When we booked this hotel it was because of the reviews of tge restaurant. On arrival we found the restaurant wasn’t on site and it was closed for the summer! Breakfast was available and we checked the start time of 7am as we had to leave early. The breakfast was on time and ok...

"We stay here regularly as we travel South. Safe carpark, always lovely staff, comfy beds & pillows & a good self serve breakfast. It's effectively a commercial motel, not a holiday hotel. Not fancy & no leisure facilities but ideal for a safe stay."
