Desert Dreams with Your Furry Friend: Pet-Friendly Rental Under the Stars

This is a large property on 4.5 acres and decades ago functioned as a cowboy ranch. Today, the property still has a very ranch vibe and is surrounded by lush nature filled with bird wildlife, and the inside is creatively decorated with original art. There are two houses on this 4.5-acre property high in the mesa.



The larger home is the short-term vacation rental. This is a spacious 3 bedroom / 2 bath house that is over 1600 sq ft and at the heart of it is a cozy fireplace. There is also a hot tub in the front garden to relax your soul after desert exploration.



Host, laid back, friendly, and here to only enhance your stay, lives in the small casita behind the main house, houses are not attached. Total respect for privacy is given.



As you approach through the impressive ranch gate, the long driveway lined with stonework and huge Joshua trees beckons you on. The gorgeous outdoor living space will immediately grab your attention as you explore the sprawling property with its massive mature trees, beautiful stonework trails, and multiple sitting areas and chill out spots to kick back and take it all in. The yard of the main house enjoys its own rustic wood fenced area with built in barbecue, planters, outdoor lighting, and ponds, as well as a hot tub spa for ultimate relaxation! Make a wish upon the wishing well as you gaze upon the stars and recharge your energy.



Entering the vacation home, you'll find yourself in an open and inviting living room with beautiful stonework fireplace. I provide the first slow burn firelog to guests and usually have backup logs available for purchase at any time of night. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked with tools to help you cook any dish and have a massive window peering into the front yard.



There are three bedrooms in the house. All bedrooms are currently carpeted with the most comfortable carpet that is likely to cause enjoyable naps and sleep overflow as needed. The living room is carpeted too, and yes, so is the bathroom connected to the largest bathroom. Unique, weird and cool all at once. All carpets are vacuumed between each guest and deep cleaned 2-4x a year.



The smallest bedroom has windows facing the west and south so gets plenty of sunlight. Read a book as you chill out on the comfortable queen.

The next larger bedroom is across from the small bedroom with a window facing west. This room has a massive king bed for you to snuggle away with your loved ones.

The final bedroom could function as its own studio apartment, it’s huge. With windows to the north and to the east looking upon the garden and hot tub, this room has all the vibes. The room is surrounded with many cabinets with a full collection of books, an assortment of board games, and a trove of vinyl records.



The property is huge and completely fenced in. Then there are smaller enclosed areas too for your dogs to enjoy including our dog park with water access, dog houses, and toys.
