Zakaki Holidays

The first day we got there, there was mould on the lamp shade. Not a small amount the full shade was covered and there was mould in the bathroom as well. When we complained we had to wait a few hours for the manager to approve our movement but then we were moved to a cleaner bathroom. The bed was smaller so we then had to complain again. Very frustrating for an anniversary but it was resolved. The beds were made each day but they weren’t changed even when they were a bit grubby despite having been there more than a few days at this point the sheet was only turned to the other side to hide the stain we had accidentally made. In regards to the staff half of them were helpful and couldn’t do enough for you but the other half were miserable as sin couldn’t even pop a smile. I have to say the drinks aren’t the usual all inclusive drinks they were actually strong and we got very drunk off them. Hotel entertainment was almost non existent. We did two activities the whole time we were there because that was all that was done as an avid lover of water polo I very much looked forward to playing but not a single day was this activity ever put out. The only thing we did was on the same day and that was water aerobics and darts at a sister hotel not even played in ours and that was it. The night time activity is the only one the hotel actually does and again this doesn’t take place at the hotel you have to go to the other hotel a bit further up and the staff there are just as bad

We had a super mini break, on arrival in room we found a welcome salad & sandwich, water & bottle wine in fridge. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels & linen. ALL staff were so attentive, always acknowledging us with a smile, the food was amazing with so much choice. Lovely setting with garden areas, two pools, (family & adult), plus a sandy beach and access to seafront walkway just steps away. Loads of onsite facilities plus car park with echarge facilities. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
