The staff were so helpful and friendly and the gardens on the property were incredible. Beds are smaller and harder than expected but we made them work. The only other thing that I didn’t care for was having to pay to use the pool. The room was more spacious than others we stayed in at Tokyo AND there was AC that actually worked! Which was much needed in July. If you use the gym, it’s very small. There is onsite laundry but you have to dry your clothes multiple times which was annoying. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was okay, but not outstanding. There could be more variety and better quality. The bar has a beautiful view, but I was disappointed that hotel guests are charged an additional fee to enjoy to sit where the view is. "Breakfast is Japanese style, so don't expect anything continental. Staff is mostly helpful some do not speak English. Room gets cleaned only once a week which seems alittle inadequate. Single rooms are small by US standards. Other than that hotel is clean and well maintained. All eminities are available in the lobby or other floors. Bathroom is on a raised platform which was somewhat annoying. I would stay here because of its proximity to the rail/bus/taxi station."

"It’s convenient, close to the station and is in a nice area. The staff are very kind and helpful as well! The rooms may be small, but it is an average size for Japan’s hotel rooms, but they are still very functional. The bathrooms are good and clean, and also come with every necessity. :) Recommend for traveling in Yokohama area, as it is also walking distance to tourists sites!"
