"It all started with when we arrived and the hotel staff said we had no reservation. We showed them the printout of our reservation and the would not honor. The hotel is far from what's in the picture. It's vert dilapidated and unkempt. It smells really bad. "This is a beautiful property with unique, rustic design situated in the middle of the village, definitely off the beaten path! "A hotel of beautiful traditional architecture with stunning decor throughout. Its location in Stone Town made it convenient to the main tourist sites and the boat to Prison Island . Despite the heat a well functioning air conditioner made the beautiful room very comfortable. Lovely breakfasts and delicious cakes and of course coffee for afternoon tea."
