"Pros: Das Haus ist im historischen Stil gepaart mit allen Annehmlichkeiten der Neuzeit sehr liebevoll saniert und modernisiert worden. Die Unterkunftzimmer tragen Namen. Jeder Unterkunft ist eine Küche zugeordnet. Es war alles vorhanden und es hat alles, aber auch alles funktioniert, was man benötigt um seine Ferien angenehm zu verbringen. "Arrived early after driving a long way were initially told at 2:20 we were too early for check in so sat down in the lobby in motorbike gear with bags as we appreciated we were early. We said we'd be happy to wait,this didn't seem to go down well & she booked us in.My phone immediately logged into the WiFi( as I'm a regular client) & worked well.It worked perfectly for about 2 hours then died.Level 4. We went out to eat.Came back later to catch up with family via internet,WiFi still not working so had a word with receptionist who barked terms & agreements,never spoke to family.Bar closed,no restaurant no top up of tea or coffee We could have ordered in a pizza via reception..Sheets on bed appeared to have been put on sideways ( single sheets) so you had seams across the bed.We just left next morning as we didn't want to make a scene.Wouldnt go back there again.Didn't stay for breakfast.Lots of people with problems hanging around the train station nearby but area well policed."

"I was disappointed with my stay at Good Morning Hotel. The room was never cleaned properly, and laundry service did not fold clothes. Breakfast lacked variety, and there was no kettle provided in the room. Hot water also failed at times, which was very inconvenient. Overall, the standards did not meet expectations."

"I don’t normally comment on check-in as it is standard, but the young woman who checked us in was so welcoming. She seemed genuinely interested in the places we had visited on our holiday. She was also helpful in explaining everything about the hotel and its proximity to the old town. I did not take her name but she told us she came from Namibia. The hotel swimming pool is quite small and the changing room floor rather wet, but it made a change after a week of travelling. If you need glasses to read anything, take them with you to the pool as the code numbers on the lockers are tiny. Not for the first time on this holiday, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel restaurant. The new menu featured asparagus. This was cooked beautifully but the quantity was huge! I had salmon and my wife had schnitzel, both of which were good. (In contrast, the following evening we were at another Holiday Inn which had a very boring menu, traditional English pub fare.) We had chosen the hotel because it seemed close to the Old Town. It is. 5 minutes’ walk from the old gate. The room was good, if a little noisy as we were close to the lift and everyone felt the need to say goodnight to their friends loudly."

"Beautiful location with only a short walk to the centre of Lubeck. Ample parking (public car park €8 for 24 hours - free on Sundays/holidays) and the hotel also has underground private parking. The check-in was very smooth and the staff excellent. We booked an accessible room and it was perfect with a roll-in shower that had a fold-up seat if you didn't have to roll-in. More than enough room to turn a wheelchair in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heat/airconditioner worked well. As I don't drink coffee (there was a Nespresso machine (sadly no George Clooney to operate it!!!) the hotel supplied a small electric kettle within 30 minutes of my reqest. The bar prices were not extortionate and the bar staff friendly and helpful. The public areas were spacious and beautifully maintained, as were the open spaces outside. Two small niggles: The windows in our particular room did not open although I noticed some rooms with tip/tilt windows and there were no USB ports at all. The breakfast was (like almost all of the hotel) excellent with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We noticed that all the staff made some small conversation rather than just saying hello or goodbye and the impression was that they had been wonderfully trained. We would definitely stay again if in the area and highly recommend the Radisson Blu hotel."
