Perfect place to stay. It's very simple and a bit stark. Rooms devoid of fancy extras, but absolutely spotless and the beds very comfortable, and my room on the street had very soundproofed windows, didn't hear a thing. Despite thinking the curtains were rather meagre, they worked a treat, for someone so sensitive to light at night.
Staff utterly lovely.
Spar shop downstairs if you need it. And when that's closed, there's a shop with deli counter two minutes away, which also sells cigarettes if you need them when the Trafik shops are closed.
Lots of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. And Cafe Sperl a minute away.
It's actually very central, only about seven mins walk to the Kunsthistoriches Museum, and another couple to the Hofburg, etc. And the metro station one minute away. A truly marvelous discovery - shall happily stay there again !

The hotel is beautiful, with comfortable beds and a nice restaurant with bar. The hotel location is close to the subway but it’s not in the best area of Vienna. You have to take the subway to the main areas of Vienna. But overall it’s a great hotel.

The Hotel Bellevue was in a great location. Trams stopped frequently in the street just outside the hotel's front doors. Also a train station was quite nearby. Getting anywhere in the city was so convenient.
Regarding the hotel itself, it was great! The room was spacious and well maintained. The folks at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included with our room. There were many options available in the breakfast buffet and everything served fresh. It was a delight to just wander down to the breakfast room and start each day!
