- The idyllic Baltic Sea resort of Zempin is located at the narrowest point of Usedom, right in the heart of the island. From this central spot, you can easily explore Usedom by car, bicycle, or the Usedomer Bäderbahn. Once a fishing village, Zempin offers a gently sloping, stone-free beach with fine sand on one side and a romantic setting by the Achterwasser (Usedom Nature Park) on the other. In the coastal forest near the Baltic Sea, you'll find the new beach promenade with a large open-air stage, where concerts take place regularly during the summer months. Watching the sunset over the Baltic Sea from here is a special experience. As one of the smallest seaside resorts on Usedom, Zempin remains peaceful and never overcrowded, creating a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere all year round.
