The standout, however, was the exceptional service—from the warm welcome at the front desk to the attentive staff in the restaurant, everyone was polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Our room included daily complimentary breakfast, offering a great selection of both Western and local dishes. The food was fresh, delicious, and well-presented—though it can get crowded at peak times. Overall, Westgate Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Taipei. Highly recommended for both location and hospitality."

Loved the pool and the fact that it stays open into the late evening. The surrounding area is not the most pretty, but it doesn't matter, we liked the local feel and being away from the crowds. There are nice places to eat, convenience stores and subway stations a short walk away. This hotel was a great choice for our family trip to Taiwan and we would stay here again for sure. "
