"Great property and amazing rooms"

"On site restaurant and bar were convenient and very nice. Walkable to restaurants. Very close to Indiana Dunes. Good WiFi. Clean. Hot tub and pool missed the mark in my opinion. Pool was rather chilly and hot tub doesn’t have bubbles. Maintenance said the tub is a spa so doesn’t have to."

"A basic hotel with a beautiful view of a lake full of wildlife. The Waterbird does not offer a lot amenities but it is clean and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. It is near the Dunelands and a good stage to run into Chicago. Bring binoculars for the birds."

"The hot tub was nit that great"

"Room was fine but the walls feel like they were made of paper. EVERY noise echoed throughout the room: doors slamming, people talking in the hallway, etc. Breakfast was underwhelming and overall unsatisfying. We ended up getting breakfast elsewhere. Felt like an expensive stay for what we received."

"Air/heat unit didn’t work. Had to return to front desk multiple times as key card would stop working. Night Front desk staff was dismissive and acted agitated when asked questions. "

"Everything was as described! House was in a great location (Go across the parking lot to George's for lunch if you're hungry). Easy access to all highways and the train into Chicago.Beds were comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Kind of wish there was a tv in the bedroom and the couch was kinda lumpy, but nothing that would make me change my rating.Overall was a great stay and we will definitely be back when we come to visit family."

"We had a great stay! The house was big enough to hold at one point for our stay 12 adults, 1 infant, 1 kid, and 2 dogs, and we still had a bit more room. Eddi and her team were great to communicate with when we reached out with questions."
