"On arrival ther was nobody on site - no guests, no reception - had to ring number - no reservation. Man on reception checked and had received reservation and text us the way to let ourselves in. "My family of 5 young adults and three adults stayed for a week at this beautiful home. It was spotlessly clean, the pool was amazing and perfect with the views, the house is well stocked and our host Juan Carlos and his family were wonderful. "Beautifully kept property with a fabulous pool. Right in the middle of the olive growing region about 10 minutes to the local town of Iznajar. Good roads to the property. The hosts live in half of the property and the other half is for guests. There are air con towers provided, generally these would be sufficient, but temperatures reached about 41 degrees while we were there. We would have loved built in air con units, but understand that the cost for this would be high. Pam and Tom were great...

"We would highly recommend this villa, its beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The views looking up to the village are amazing. We spent a relaxing week here chilling by the pool. We also hired a car and drove down to the beach near Malaga recommend by our hosts. You would definitely need a car if you have mobility issues as the village has very steep roads to climb but worth the views. Thanks to Clay and Lesley our wonderful hosts."

"The property was lovely but we had to communicate using Google translate. San Marcos has very little in the way of bars and restaurants or if they did we couldn't find them! TV is all in Spanish so no good for watching in the cold nights. Radiators in living room and bedroom didn't work so we had to use blankets. Enjoyed our stay but just wanted people to be aware of what to expect."
