"Clint was super-helpful, communicative and hugely accommodating. The room was beautiful and well-maintained, with a fantastic roof terrace. The decor was stunning. Zurrieq is a sleepy little location but came alive during festival - if going in late August make sure you’re ok with fireworks hahaha. Ten minutes by cab from the airport and half an hour from Valletta. Definitely would come back off-season when it’s not hotter than the surface of the sun!"

"The room was not exactly clean, the towels had some stains on them which we didn't have the stomach to use, the bed sheets also had some stains, but we thought it was fine until the towels, as it did seem washed, but still stained. The room does NOT have a window, the place smelled AWFUL! We ended up buying an air freshener for the place, it didn't help much. There was one small window that we couldn't reach, but we felt it was outrageous that it was never mentioned there wouldn't be normal...

"I really enjoyed my stay. I was able to travel easy due to the property being a five minute walk from a few different bus stops. There are also some decent places to eat out around as well. Chris was an awesome host helping me whenever I needed it. Everything was provided, except for shampoo. I brought my own, but others may find that unexpected. The WiFi can also be temperamental depending where in the room you are, but not unusable. If you want a fair price short term stay, this is a fantastic...

"Nice updated and clean hotel. Beds are a little firm and you need to bring a top sheet as in Europe they don't use top sheets just duvet and bottom sheet. Concierge staff were amazing helping us with whatever we need. Stayed for 2 weeks so took advantage of the breakfast buffet. They had a good variety of foods to choose from. If ordering lunch or supper was a bit pricey so we ate mostly at restaurants around the hotel. Lots to choose from as this hotel is in a nice location 25 minutes walking to Silema or the other way Balluta Bay area. General manager took time to meet and talk with guests."

"We have just spent one week at the corinthia. Family of six. Hotel staff are fantastic. Very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast has a huge variety to choose from. Buffet style but extras also available to order. Rooms are a little dated and need refurbishing. My understanding is that sone of the hotel has been refurbished already. Hotel lobby is beautiful. Pools are great but very cold and not heated in winter months. Indoor pool and spa were busy. Hotel is in the centre of the area so easy access to all bars etc around. Only downside is construction is going on all around. Therefore can be noisy and they work all times of the day and night. Also we had on two occasions fire alarms going off. People vaping in rooms. This was inconvenient and no communication from staff on what to do. So if there was a real fire I am not sure how this would be communicated. All said would visit again as there is so much to do in Malta. One week is not enough"
