"BEAUTY-FULL! Everything was excellent, from on-site covered parking on arrival to comfortable warm bed giving a great night’s sleep to morning great-tasting coffee in the lobby and feeling the front desk love. And the beach! It’s just a short few steps near and was amazing, my senses filled with wild wind and resounding waves…watching the late-September Sun rise, feet loving the walk on toasty sun-warmed sands through out the day, then walking across the street for the bay-side sunset sky and horizon light and cloud show….divine! Thank you El, Ella, Mona, and everyone at Gold Leaf, your love and care made my stay something wonder-full to remember ❤️🔥🌞⚡️"

"This hotel was perfect for our quick get away beach trip. The bath tub was stained from old age, and the door was scratched maybe from an animal. However, everything was clean and up dated. The staff were excellent. The young lady checking us in was marvelous. We would stay here again."

"The room was pretty clean, except for some sand on the floors. Bathroom was clean pretty good. Some ceiling tiles were discolored from a leak from above. First room we were assigned was in a corner under stairs on first floor and was pretty musty smelling. Asked for another room and it was much better, thanks to the person at check in for helping on that. All in all not too bad of a stay."

"We were in room 242, not really clean, there was alot of dirt under the bed, under the desk area there was garbage, just little pieces, but obviously not cleaned. The shower head was really poor, so small for such a large bathroom. No firepits as advertised. The front desk knew nothing about firepits. We could only use the indoor pool, that's poor. Would I stay here again, probably not and I love Hyatt. We paid a premium price during off season and didn't get premium."
