The Filipino staff are very polite, respectful, and always ready to help. That really stood out and should definitely be kept. It’s also a big plus that guests don’t need to rent kayaks or paddleboards separately - having the fins included adds extra convenience.

We stayed three nights are El Rio Y Mar Resort and wish we could have stayed a week. This resort is hands down the best resort we have stayed at in the Philippines. I didnt know what to expect when I booked it. Arrival was by bus from the airport to the harbour and boat to the island. The harbour is not easy to maneuvere, and not advisable for anyone with mobility issues. There are 16 cottages and they are small but lovely, mine [number 1] was right on the beach. ...
