Fantastic Stay! Great Staff. Good Food Fun Trip

We have 6 days at the resorts. With all family and friend. The resorts is big and nice. The beachfront area is excellent. And the server at the buffet are very nice specially Onelia Guerrero she’s friendly helpful and supper nice. It’s would be perfect if the reception and the doorman is more helpful and professional, I think should have better training . All the room clean but the shower is smell from the sewers not done properly .

We stayed at the Barcelo Beach adult only. We did the premium package. The VIP desk and lounge is a joke. They were not very helpful. No premium liquer or drinks at all. Not like other Barcelo's. The room location was great. We were on the third floor but there are two elevators and they were fast. The room itself was very outdated. We were at 1079 and it was on the end and very quite. There is a bath tub which is high and hard to get in and out. Plenty of hot water, and the bed was comfortable. The fridge had 3 mini beers and was Presidente and no light beer option. The air-conditioning was great. The bell boys were great! Very helpful. To get to the Palace resort, other restaurants, spa etc. you had to get a ride in what looked like a "train". Sometimes had to wait a long time. The lobby bar was the best! Shot out to Yovelin Montero, great bartender and spoke english! The beach was amazing! The sand was soft and not hot. The beach/pool chair situation was pretty good. The pool was smaller and no swim up bar. The only time we ate at the buffets restaurants was for breakfast and it was good. Definatley need more than one toaster for bread. Ate at the specialty restaurants the other days for lunch and dinner. Was able to prebook online before we got there being a premium guest which was nice. The Steak House, Mexico Lindo, Chez Gourmet and El Coral were terrible! Hoya 19 and Koyoto were okay. The La Brisa was the best for lunch and dinner!The Spa was nice but no auromatherapy.

The amenities were superb, the room was clean, and the staff were very attentive.

I originally checked into 1602 however the room was not in the best conditions and the front desk moved me without any questions. New room was much better. Buffet food was standard for an all inclusive resort and drinks are made with very cheap liquor but learned to ask for my drinks with Brugal which made a huge difference. Also tried a couple of Al carte restaurants, Wasabi, a Japanese restaurant, was mediocre, however Gaucho was phenomenal. What i enjoyed the most was the service from Pedro, he

Beautiful property. Restaurants on property were pricey. The breakfast buffet is $40pp. All food was delicious. Room smelled a little musty at first, but we were able to open the slider and get in some fresh air.
