Hispaniola Cheap Holidays

We stayed at Barceló Bávaro Beach for a 4-day adults-only weekend getaway. We received an upgrade to a premium room, which was a nice touch. The room was clean and comfortable, though fairly average and not particularly luxurious. The food was also average — decent variety, but overall just okay and not especially memorable. The beach and adults-only atmosphere were relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but more of an average experience rather than something exceptional.

Great good, amazing rooms, everything was close and convenient

The staff (some of the staff) were not very welcoming! Didn’t make you feel very welcome and or uncomfortable. I will not visit Punta Cana again.

Nice resort, clean. Staff mostly friendly, think sometimes a little overwhelmed with the influx of tourism but I'm sure over time, they will get the hang of it! Rooms cleaned, fridges restocked daily. We had a swimout suite, wish we had known it was in the shade for most of the day, so quite a bit cooler than main pools. Good selection of foods each day, always something to choose. Beach was nice & close to resort, very little seaweed issues (we went beginning of December) water a little choppy so not good for non or basic swimmers!

Exceptional service!! Just wish the pool stayed open longer
