Excellent characterful hotel with lovely gardens and dining facilities, and plenty of helpful staff. A refreshing change from the formulaic modern hotels that dominate the market.

Overall the stay was good. Only disappointment was the room. At the time of booking, I booked a double bed. On arrival I was told a room with a double bed was not available and I would get a new room. I never got a new room. No one ever followed up.

Great place for a vacation

the good - my 7yr old love the kid water park, the common area were clean. most of the service people were super nice The Bad - we waited 2 hours to get our room even though we did not arrive until 3:45 in the afternoon. the front desk lady told us our room is not ready so go get some food, but she did not tell us where to go to get food as the restaurants is not open until 6pm and we were not able to find any food other then drinks. We could not find the 24hr snack bar that the resort said they have online. We asked for extra blanket for the sofa bed 3 times and they keep telling us that some one will bring it but never got it. The air conditioner in our room make loud noises and felt like i was sleeping on a motor boat and the front desk said they can't do anything about it when i complaint.

I think the property was beautiful. My only complaint was I feel that they do not provide you with enough information, especially if it’s your first time there. We did upgrade to signature. They told us that we would be able to get dining easier and a few other perks. I’m not sure it was fully worth it. It seems like all the rooms are the same. Specially for a family of four you really need two separate rooms.

We had an amazing time! We loved everything about the property and people.
