My favorite hotel i have ever stayed in. Best service & best staff. Concierge got us into a restaurant in the Bund that was otherwise booked up. Hard to imagine a better location.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The peaceful Zen like atmosphere was such a lovely refuge after a day of running around in the craziness of Shanghai.
The most gorgeous environment. Beautiful room, delicious food, fabulous spa. But mostly all the staff were unbelievable. So warm, helpful, and friendly. Didn’t want to leave.

If you’re booking this place for an amazing room with an amazing view and a bath tub by the window you will not be disappointed.
If you are booking this for the pool area, don’t get your hopes up, it feels more like a public bath house than a luxury hotel pool, similar feel with the spa.
The overall hotel and rooms are nice, I just felt like they needed a deep clean and a bit of TLC, grouting etc. light switches and AC seemed to have a mind of their own and didn’t always respond to pressing the light switches.
I loved staying here, but that’s my constructive criticism. It misses a few of those tick boxes that take it upto being a world class hotel. More of an Instagram hotel that looks great for the pictures
