Worst hotel experience ever! The elevator was broken throughout our entire stay, making things extremely inconvenient. To make matters worse, the guy at reception tried to charge me twice for the city tax, even though I had already paid it just 10 minutes earlier! Absolutely disappointing. I would not recommend staying here. I will NEVER comeback! I also felt terrible for the poor staff member who had to carry our 23kg luggages from the 3rd floor all the way down to the main floor. Worst experience!

Ink 48 definitely feels like it’s missing some heavy duty management. The staff was lovely, and everything seems clean, but overall it’s just a bit faded and unpolished. In our room, the hotel phone wasn’t working, the clock was set to be wrong time, the air vent seemed to be hanging on for dear life, and the mini bar was stocked with bottles of water from the bodega down the street, literally with these neon pink price stickers still on them. The hotel roof is managed by a different company, and they did not seem to have any hustle or desire to welcome hotel guests up to the roof. I know that has nothing to do with the hotel, but it is on the property and you would think that the rooftop staff would make a point of fussing a little extra over hotel guests. As I said, staff seemed very friendly, but it did look like a ragtag bunch with untucked shirts, a laissez-faire attitude, et cetera. For 750 bucks a night, for the overall stay I have to say I was a little disappointed

I cannot describe how helpful and attentive the staff is here at the Metropolitan Boutique. They made a point to reach out well in advance of our trip, even before our Mediterranean cruise the week before to establish contact. That was good as our connecting flight from Tome was very much in jeopardy, but they assured us they were there at any hour. They arranged transport from the hotel at an acceptable rate. Actually, compared to American transit, it was quite nice. Communication was a breeze and all through the trip they were incredibly helpful, giving direction, advice and ordering us a cab when needed (you cannot just flag one down in Krakow by the way). The hotel is in or just on the edge of the Jewish Quarter and in an older building, but you cannot tell as it is very well appointed, both in public areas as well as the rooms. If there is one detraction, it would be the limited TV to wind down to in the evening, but in all fairness, as an American, it would all likely be in Polish and not accessible to us. No problem, we were able to access our content via WiFi so it was all good. The restaurant attached to the hotel was quite good our first night and surrounding restaurants filled the rest of our needs. I would recommend this hotel with no reservation whatsoever.

Great stay!! The hotel is beautiful with very helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable and spacious for NYC standards. The beds were very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing! The shower was roomy with amazing water pressure.

My wife and I stayed at the Elizabeth Hotel from September 17th -22nd. This was my first trip to Rome, so I was looking for an incredible experience in the heart of the city. The hotel was everything I wanted plus more. It is located a short 5 minute walk to the Piazza Del Popolo, the starting point of our two tours to Pompeii and Tuscany. The hotel is located on a side street, so we heard none of the neighborhood activity after a long day exploring the city. From the moment the doorman opened the door for upon arrival until he loaded our luggage into our car for the return trip to the airport, everything at the hotel was excellent. Our "suite" had a nice size living room with a fridge to store cold beverages. The bedroom was roomy a very comfortable king bed. The bath room was spacious and very modern. Breakfast (included) was served either inside or on a rooftop patio and offered a wide variety of delicious food. The French Toast was outstanding as was the homemade granola with yogurt and fruit. The floor plan itself was intriguing as we discovered nooks and alcoves at every turn. The library offered a quiet place to relax. The staff at the hotel was superb with friendly smiles greeting us at every encounter. Special mention to Thomas and Julianna at the front desk for their extraordinary help with restaurant and gelato recommendations, and their willingness to jump on the phone to help (in rapid fire Italian) with any snafus in our travel plans. They were outstanding.

All the food was delicious. The pool area is large with great options. The gym is the best hotel gym I’ve ever been to. The room was great with an amazing view. The only downside is that everything was expensive.
