Kolkata - Sounds and Sights - Private Full Day City Tour
"Excellent location for beach walks , shacks, late evenings to watch sunset from beach with a drink.
Staff can't do enough, really helpful.
Taxes at resort are 18% , though that is the same in all.
Avoid wine unless you're happy pay about £16 a glass."
"As I walked in maybe 9 or more staff members were at the front checkin area talking between themselves . I walked in maybe q0 to q5 seconds after I had to ask in a loud voice where is check in and all of a sudden all 9 or 12 of them sprung into action. Taj come on more kids u hire more idle talk will happen.
Parts of my room were dusty the fridge/ freezer for my insulin and ice pack did not work for my travel ahead.
Breakfast was small and similar each day service was good. Electrical outlets...

In night they opened karoke in dining area and it was all too noisy which created headache as 3-4 persons were trying to sing in horrible sound and rhythm. Overall I feel it's not worth value for money

The towels and pillows were very dirty and were not in a state where they could be used; they had stains and even after asking for replacement were provided with stained towels (we ended up having to purchase towels from a local store)
Hot water was not working in the room

"Lack of a swimming pool and sauna was a complete bummer. Although this may have been mentioned in their website, I wish the hotel had the courtesy to price down to compensate.
I would not recommend this resort unless you plan to stay for 3-4 nights. Its vast, requires constant hailing of the cab service.
PNF restaurant - while the food was good and the staff friendly, be warned that the place was full of mosquitoes.
The other thing was that we were promised room with a view, unfortunately...
