Barbados Kid friendly Holidays

I didn’t like that the pool bar was closed and open on Friday for a limited time. I had some problems with my room and didn’t understand how housekeeping didn’t address. However, when I did they took care of the problem quickly. I found some of the staff not to be friendly. They ran out of towels for the pool quickly. Overall, my room view was breathtaking and I enjoyed watching the sun rise, water waves and the pool area was a delight but they could benefit from some lights. Once it got dark, you felt like you were in a nursing home. It was very quiet. Places to eat was in walking distance or you took car services . The friendly staff helped you with certain things. There was no ice on any floors. You had to go to the little bar on the ground floor and asked for ice.

The room was immaculately cleaned, the staff washed and changed the sheets everyday. Amenities were wonderful, the best fully stocked gym with equipment I’ve ever had. Food service at Calabash (the hotel restaurant) was quite slow, but the food quality and taste was excellent. So just be aware that meals do take time at the hotel property.

An ideal place for a peaceful vacation. The staff members were amazingly cordial, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. However, front desk management personnel have room for improvement.
