Pigeon Island Kid friendly Holidays

Room was not cleaned well, and poorly maintained. Overall staff were careless and they were not organized well. Breakfast at the buffet was not so good because of poor choices and food was not tasty, and most of the staff were not too friendly. Beach view was very far away. Beach was poorly maintained, beach chairs had old, broken and dirty cushions. Entertaining was poor and not so interesting. This resort is very far away (2 hours drive) from international airport.

The resort is somewhat dated. The staff ate not as welcoming after arrival. Room service, if there is any good left, takes at least 1 hr. If you do not like cats, this isn't the resort for you. We did enjoy our excursion on the Timeless 2 speed boat.

We had a great stay at Ladera! The view is everything you can imagine and more. The staff was so respectful, kind and on top of everything you need. We didn’t wait more than 5-10 minutes when we called for anything. There were some small complaints but Yvette and her staff went above and beyond to ensure they were resolved… even upgraded our room! The resort tries their best to manage bugs by spraying nightly and as needed but of course, you are in nature so be aware bugs are still in abundance but only at night time. The hotel set us up with any excursions we wanted to do and the food at Dasheene was amazing. Overall, it was a great stay & would definitely recommend.

Windjammer Landing is undeniably a beautiful property in St. Lucia, with gorgeous surroundings and a wonderful Caribbean atmosphere. Unfortunately, my stay came with a rather unexpected souvenir…..a broken toe! A word of caution about the stairs in the lobby area: Some are slightly uneven, so be mindful of your footing. I learned this the hard way, and breaking a toe just before a European vacation was certainly not part of my itinerary! What disappointed me most, however, was that not a single manager checked on me throughout the remainder of my stay to see how I was doing. For a resort of this caliber, I would have expected a little more personal attention and concern following an injury on the property. That said, I do want to recognize the wonderful restaurant staff, who were incredibly accommodating. They provided an extra chair and ice so I could elevate my injured foot while enjoying my meals. The nurse was also very friendly, helpful, and attentive, which I truly appreciated. Overall, Windjammer Landing is a beautiful resort, and there were staff members who genuinely went out of their way to make me comfortable. Unfortunately, the lack of follow-up from management left a disappointing impression. A little genuine concern goes a long way, especially in hospitality.
