We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel 717, and it was absolutely perfect!
The staff were so attentive and helpful from the moment I booked til we got in our taxi to come home. I couldn’t fault a thing!
The room was stunning, the perfect retreat after a busy day of walking around Amsterdams gorgeous canals and museums.

Grand Hotel Normandy is located on a large street in Brugge, fairly close to the Brugge Convention Center (BMCC). It is an old hotel with dated rooms and facilities. The room smells old as soon as you enter. Ours had a pillar in the middle of the room and an old squeaky cupboard that barely held together. The small safety cabinet located inside it could not accommodate a laptop and was not fastened in place.
The room was clean with a very large bed and an excellent mattress. I prefer a hard mattress while my wife a softer one; this mattress somehow worked for both of us! The room came with a modern spacious bathroom. Oddly, the small sink was placed right under a large shelf; you either hit your head or you did not use the sink. Room service was spotty.
The reception staff was absolutely amazing, all smiles and very helpful.
The breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of items that should satisfy any taste and need.
The pool was very nice and clean.
Overall, this hotel was not worth the money.
