Easy check in and pleasant staff. Room was spacious with views of the river. However, there was thick dust on the surfaces, especially the bedside tables, dirty glasses with lipstick and finger marks, rips in the sheets and a strange strong smell.

"Beautiful old style hotel in a very convenient location near the train and tram stops. The taps in the bathrooms may need an upgrade soon but very spacious rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Old school charm in the centre of Melbourne! Would stay again."
