Frontier Military Historic Byway Romantic Holidays

It was great

Perfect spot in middle of Kansas City with great amenities and very walkable neighborhood.

Our stay was a nightmare. The hotel’s online photos are pure fiction; in reality, the lobby reeks of sewage, a smell that followed us into our rooms every time we used the water. Trying to shower or brush our teeth in that stench was repulsive. The room itself was filthy, with cobwebs on the patio doors and yellow stains on the sheets. The staff, specifically Roxanne at the front desk, was incredibly hostile. She made our large group feel unwelcome with her aggressive stares and, most appallingly, directed racist comments toward members of our party wearing hijabs. When we complained, management was dismissive, offering a one-night credit as a transparent attempt to silence us rather than addressing the serious health hazards or the discrimination. This place is unsanitary, unsafe, and deeply offensive. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Roxanne needs to be fired, and the management needs to be held accountable. Do not be fooled by their "catfish" pictures.

Great location
