We loved our stay at 1 Hotel BK! Service was phenomenal, beautiful views, and the room was absolutely gorgeous. 10/10 experience.

The staff was AMAZING! Love the room decor. The Roof top balcony is beautiful. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars was I could hear all the sirens all night long, and every time someone left their room - the door slams were like it was out door. If you are a sound sleeper as my husband is (so none of this bothered him) absolutely go here! I would even think of going back even though sleep was minimal! ;-)

We had some strange encounters, not gonna get into it, the hotel knows. However the room is super spacious and clean, a lot of staff but service and attentiveness are spread thin. Wasn’t a bad stay but at least people were kind.

We chose this location bc they have AC and walkable to the city. The AC barely worked and we were only able to bear it after asking for a second key to leave in the power wall so that it stayed on while we were out. The hotel is on the “second floor” (76 stair steps) and there is not really a viable elevator. At the end of 20k steps walking around the city each day, the stairs to our room were dreaded. We paid for the breakfast at hotel in advance. It appeared we were the only ones who ate there. Skip it, it’s not worth the price. The staff was lovely (although not able to recommend a good restaurant) and the location was great!

Execllent

Paolo and Alvis were especially helpful at check in and check out. But every single person at the reception is fantastic, it’s 24 hours you hand in your key they take care of it until you’re back whenever you want to come. Housekeeping was great and the room was incredibly clean. The area is quiet: mostly student and residential and is a 10 min walk from the metro station Bologna which connects you to Roma Termini (central station) in case you want to do day trip away from Rome, the Colosseum and many more main attractions is on the same direct line. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants around, and good night time vibe. Recommend visiting the museum that is just down the street from the hotel. Breakfast was included and was simple and tasty, coffee drinks were amazing and the staff is so lovely in the morning. Overall, highly recommend this hotel!
