Hakone Hot Springs Ski Holidays

It's a beautiful hotel. We like the pajamas we were given and the many toiletries options. Our room was nice, the only negative was the toilet room smelled a bit bad for some reason. The breakfast buffet is a must have! We're still dreaming about it. The location is a little farther south but very close to the Shiomi train station so it's just a couple stops away from Tokyo station. I'm actually glad we were a little farther away because there weren't so many people so it was peaceful.

Very convenient spot, quick to get to the train station and a million things to do in the area. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, many spoke a bit of multiple languages. Great showers, clean throughout. Gym is very very small, and the shower soap was a bit strong… but hey, it was 90 and humid during July so it’s probably necessary. Overall a fantastic place to stay if you want to see what tokyo is all about.

I loved staying at this hotel and appreciated it even more after moving to the Marriott, which seemed very cold and sterile compared to the Niwa. From the super polite front desk people (we received a very deep bow from one when boarding the elevator to our room the first time) to the little touches such as an air cleaner/humidifier, tea service tray and bluetooth speaker in the room, the Hotel Niwa is a very nice place to stay. You feel like you are experiencing the real Japan here.

Loved our stay here! Great location. Rooms are small, as expected in Tokyo, but super clean. Staff was friendly too.

Amazing! Would highly recommend. Check in check out was easy and the room was great. We had a great view of Godzilla
