From little more than a tiny police station over 65 years ago, this area has grown to be a major sunny holiday destination.

West of Timna Park is Red Canyon, featuring a short, child-friendly trail with breathtaking sandstone walls displaying a kaleidoscope of soft, pastel colours. Return to the modern city of Eilat for varied cuisine.
The Red Sea is never far away and provides its own attractions on a backdrop of distant hills in neighboring Jordan. Play with dolphins in their natural habitat at Dolphin Reef or follow underwater trails at Coral Beach Nature Reserve.
View marine life below the surface without getting wet at the Underwater Observatory Marine Park. Wander through Eilat Marina with its elegant yachts and motor vessels, as well as a large variety of stores and restaurants. Be sure to experience lively beaches in the Hotels Zone, where something always seems to be happening. Waterskiing, swimming and even ice-skating are available here.
