"My wife’s parents got married in this property 70 years ago, so we decided to stay here as part of our family history trip. The building is from the 1700s but it has been updated and has a ton of charm. The key boxes were all checked: the bed was comfortable, it was quiet at night and the water pressure was good. "Perfect for me and the puppy as I was able to park car/kennel right outside in the quiet car park. Secluded spot just away from the main high street. Lovely friendly pub, great food, no fuss! Accommodation basic (perfect for me and dog) but clean, all facilities worked well. The only thing I missed was a comfy chair to sit and read... but the bed sufficed (very comfy btw). It is certainly clean, which for an old building with the usual plaster cracks is some achievement. Getting a parking space is always a bit of a gamble that end of Aber.
