"The Clarendon is a clean and beautifully furnished boutique hotel. It is close to dining and shops. We had a beautiful view of the water from our room. The owner is very nice and gave us suggestions for things to do in town. I would rate the Clarendon more than 5 stars if I could. Seriously, the BEST accommodation we’ve had throughout our journey in the UK! This is a hotel you don’t want to miss out on while in Dundee! "

"This was a five star stay for me. Spacious room, high ceiling, nice, updated bathroom, a lovely kitchenette with all the essentials. A bountiful breakfast was included in the price of the stay, an incredible value. The staff were uber welcoming and kind. Check-in was a breeze. Parking on site."

"This was a last minute decision to go away for the night and we stumbled upon the Boat Inn while working through Hotels.com. Great place to stay, good pub grub, lovely clean and smart room, dog friendly and very peaceful. The staff were brilliant. And they have EV charging!"

"We spotted the village from the road above, fishing village down a steep road, cobblestones and cottages. Gorgeous 300 year old pub on the harbour, great atmosphere, comfy bed and room, breakfast the next day was fresh and plentiful and offered with love and care. Really enjoyed it, 20 steos from the harbour so pretty to walk around."

"Lovely hotel. Very clean. Room really nice and clean. Staff very friendly welcoming and attentive. Only down side was breakfast Staff were great everything was clean however not a massive choice. No fried eggs and sausages were hard to cut and bacon was like cardboard. Too over cooked. "

"Property & room were well appointed and maintained. Room seating was uncomfortable as sofa was a sleeper and chair was stiff, but really, most time is spent out of the room. No AC so we were hot when outside temps were in the 50’sF. In fairness this is common in Scotland. Very nice pools - yes more than 1 - plus restaurant and separate informal lounge. Good food, but breakfast hours start at 10. Doting staff. Perfect service. "

"This place is a hidden gem! I have been staying at budget accommodations, trying to keep it around $100 CAD per night, including breakfast. With that in mind, this place is an incredible value. The building has character and is a bit quirky. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was renovated. The grounds are beautiful, and it is very close to Lunan Beach.
