A fresh clean comfortable property, easily found and great location by the ocean. Friendly staff and other than stairs, no lift, which is usual for uk, excellent property . Rooms beautifully renovated.

Despite the restaurant being closed breakfast is served daily and is excellent. The l staff at the Grey Harlings are excellent and are always at hand should you need anything. I loved the room it was very comfortable and spacious with very good facilities. There is no doubt that I would stay here again and I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Montrose. The hotel is located close the the Golf course and club house and there are other dining options in the area.

Very welcoming staff nice room with a great view, great breakfast, good shower. Nice grounds with a good covered area at the beer garden Lovely period furnature.

We were made to feel very welcome and also allowed to use the lounge area later on the day we were leaving as we had some time to kill and the weather was miserable. It’s a very homely and welcoming environment.
